StayAmerica is part of the StagWeb group. StagWeb is an ABTA bonded tour operator and events company, since 2002.
Prior to StagWeb the founder began with the idea of StayAmerica in 1997, always meaning to set it up as one of the UK’s primary web driven accommodation platform, however the company was distracted with developing a highly successful tour operation and events division, and its own in-house marketing studio (freshsplash) – so with fully applied resources the company is finally back round to the development of StayAmerica. In the meantime many great hotel booking services have arisen (and some not so great), but with a commitment to consumers and a goal to provide quality options and attractive deals to our clients, StayAmerica has finally been launched in 2009. We’re committed to giving our browsers an efficient, great value solution to booking hotels and accommodation in the US. Our goal is ultimately become the first selection for clients wanting to book hotels in the USA.
Within the company we have a wealth of experience with hotels, self-catering, apartments, national and international travel and events, group bookings and firstclass communication. While a relatively young company, with a young and vibrant staff, our collective experience runs to over 40 years at the top end of the tourism industry.
StayAmerica works with a well developed central bank of hotels and accommodation providers, which include all the major chains, many less well known chains and many carefully selected independent hotels. Reservations are pushed directly to carefully selected partners offering the most appropriate deals for our clients. Reservations policies are determined by the hotels but are usually very generous with regard to cancellation – though this may always be checked.
You do not pay StayAmerica, we simply facilitate the reservation, once booked we achieve revenues through very small commissions – on the best deals available. We have no obligations, commitments or responsibilities to select one partner over another, our primary and most important relationship is with you the client. Therefore our entire focus is sourcing and offering the best deals available. As a business, and to keep bringing our clients the best possible deals, it is important for us to do large volumes – so please tell your friends!
StayAmerica's sister platforms (under the StagWeb Limited umbrella) include StagWeb®, GoHen®, Company Away Days, Fresh Splash Studios, StagWeb.ie (Ireland), ShirtyBurty. It is likely StayAmerica will separate to its own independent organisation in the near future but for the meantime will remain part of a very fit, focused group of complementary platforms.
